INSTRUCTIONS
Make a choice
of the number of inner-layers of your board.
Select pad,
flash(ground), drill sizes that you want inspect.
Select the
size of your panel.
Select the
direction of the fiber.
For any layer:
select thickness, resin content, type and press "SET_LAYER".
Resin content
and thickness are coupled (lay1=lay2, lay3=lay4...), so if you set lay1,
automatically lay2 will be setted and viceversa.
When you have
setted anything, you can press "PLAY" to see the forecasted section after
lamination.
ABOUT THIS
APPLET
The algorithm
that calculates the size of the movement for any layer is based on a little
expert-system with fuzzy rules tuned on the actual available data. Data
were collected from eterogeneous environments with unknown mechanical registration
systems and filtered using results of the technical report IPC-TR-483 ("DIMENSIONAL
STABILITY TESTING OF THIN LAMINATES"). Hence this tool is intended to give
a trend or a rough vision of section after process. You can see
the procedure used for preprocessing data and building the fuzzy rules.
I have no
consistent data concerning the effect of different pre-pregs in various
lay-up combinations so at the moment I must overlook this variable.
I'll appreciate
any feedback, suggestion, bug-notification and new data with at least the
relations to the considered variables.
